Finally got around to it...

For some of you who might know, I've been without grip tape on my pegs for the longest time. So I finally got around to it and put some on and now I can stay on my McCircles without feeling like I'm about to fall off =PIMG00548-20110310-2145

EXPERIMENT WITH BIKES! NOT DRUGS! (35 to 0 offset)

I recently bought a Sequence Null stem to try some zero offset.

Once I received the stem, I realized I had a lot of modifying to do. So I visited my friend Al at CJS and we started modifying!

First problem was the compression bolt for my forks was too big to fit inside the stem. So we made it smaller!

After a good hour of shaving it down, we got the bolt to fit in and tighten!

Our next problem was the brake cable couldn't fit after we put in the bars. I was about to just say f-it and go breakless again, but Al didn't want to quit, so what did he do? Oh yes he did!

Al drilled right threw the back of the stem with enough clearance from the fork bolt and the bars! Perfecto!

After messing around with the brakes, we ended up cutting the brake cable to short. So we put in a new white one to go with my new white chain I got too!

One reason why I love flatland is because it brings people together and there is always a hurdle to jump with them.

Fanito!

I would like to thank Al of CJS for helping me out with this and Aaron for making this stem! Make more of them Aaron!
